How to connect Bluetooth to your car
The 2015 Volkswagen Jetta is one of the top-selling compact cars on the market for a reason. It features a comfortable interior, easy handling and advanced safety features. But the Jetta’s great qualities don’t end there. When you pair your Volkswagen Jetta with Bluetooth, you gain access to a selection of other services for added convenience and entertainments. Here at Three Rivers Volkswagen, we’re going to show you how to connect Bluetooth to your car, focusing primarily on the 2015 Volkswagen Jetta.
Bluetooth® allows drivers to wirelessly connect their car and their mobile device, giving them access to multiple features. Through a Bluetooth connection, drivers can make phone calls without picking up their phone. It also allows hands free talking through the car’s sound system. The Jetta’s sound system features an overhead microphone that picks up your voice, allowing you to talk on the phone without taking your hands off the wheel or your eyes off the road.
With the established connection, you can access your phonebook in your vehicle. You can receive and place calls while on the road. While Bluetooth makes talking on the phone much easier, it’s important that drivers stay attentive to the road and use discretion when using your phone behind the wheel.
With Bluetooth pairing, drivers can also stream music off of their phones through the Jetta’s speakers. Then you’ll never have to worry about finding something to listen to in the car – it keeps all of your favorite songs and artists at hand. If you’re wondering how to connect Bluetooth to your car, we can help.
How to pair your Jetta and phone with Bluetooth
Pairing your phone and 2015 Volkswagen Jetta with Bluetooth is a lot easier than it may sound. The first step in the pairing process is making sure that your phone is compatible with the Jetta’s Bluetooth. You can do that by visiting vw.com/Bluetooth. It will prompt you to fill in necessary information. By filling it in, you can ensure that your phone is compatible to connect with the Jetta.
Once you’ve verified connectivity, put your Jetta in accessory mode and apply the parking brake to begin the pairing process. When you search for new devices from the Bluetooth menu on your phone, the option “VW PHONE” should appear. Select this option. You may then be prompted with a few alerts after selecting it, but when you accept them, the connection will be established.
