Bosch fuel pump problems spark recall of 2015 Volkswagen Golf

Over 6,000 models to be recalled due to faulty component

Following BMW and Nissan from a few weeks ago, Volkswagen has recalled some of their vehicles in order to replace Bosch-supplied fuel pumps. The problem arises from some of the pumps featuring a nickel plating that could flake off and cause problems with the part. In particular, Volkswagen has announced the recall of models of the 2015 Volkswagen Golf, Audi A3 and GTI. (more…)
